Aussie Solar Guide

Quote promise

Solar quotes should feel clear, not pressured

Aussie Solar Guide is built to help Australian homeowners understand the main checks before speaking with installers. We do not publish fake rankings or promise fixed savings for every home.

Useful guidance before contact

The quote path starts with postcode, system interest, battery interest, and timeline so you can see a planning range before sharing contact details.

No guaranteed savings claims

Solar savings depend on your roof, bill, tariffs, export rules, products, and installer assumptions. We keep estimates clearly labelled.

Installer checks matter

A good quote should name the panel, inverter, mounting, warranties, STCs, network assumptions, and after-sales process.

Rebates should be itemised

Federal solar STCs are usually already included in quote prices. State rebates, loans, VPPs, and battery support should be shown separately.

How the quote request works

The flow is intentionally designed to give value before contact details.

  1. 1You enter home and system details first.
  2. 2We show a rough planning range and checklist.
  3. 3You decide whether to add optional roof/usage details.
  4. 4Only then do you add contact details if you want a response.
  5. 5Admin can review the same quote guide summary you saw.

Before you choose an installer

Ask for STC value, equipment models, and warranty terms in writing.
Compare quotes on the same system size and battery assumption.
Check Solar Accreditation Australia credentials and local service support.
Avoid pressure to sign before you understand the quote.
